How the Rental Process Works

We’ve kept this simple. Most rentals are turned around in a single visit.

Call or Email Ahead

Tell us the tool, the start date, and the rough duration. We’ll confirm availability and reserve the unit for you.

Stop in to Sign Out

Bring a valid ID and a payment method, or use your JJB account. We’ll walk through the tool, confirm any accessories needed, and you’re out the door.

Use It On Site

Daily or weekly terms apply from pickup. Need to extend? Call us and we can do our best to accommodate.

Return it. Done.

Drop the tool back at our Dalton Ave. location. We’ll inspect it, settle the invoice, and you’re finished.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a contractor account to rent? +

No. Rentals are available to anyone with valid ID and a payment method. Contractor account holders benefit from streamlined billing and the ability to bundle rentals with material orders, but the rental program is open to everyone.

What’s the difference between the daily and weekly rate? +

Daily rates apply to short rentals, typically from one to three days. Weekly rates are charged at a lower per-day equivalent and apply to rentals of seven days or more. If your job is going to run more than three days, the weekly rate is the right choice.

Are accessories included? +

Wear parts like drill bits, core bits, saw blades, and grinding discs are not included with the tool. We sell Hilti-compatible accessories and can recommend the right consumables for your application when you book.

What happens if a tool is damaged or lost? +

All rentals are signed out under standard terms covering damage beyond normal wear, loss, and late returns. We’ll walk you through the terms when you pick up the equipment. Treat the tools like your own and there’s nothing to worry about.

Do you deliver? +

Pickup at our Dalton Ave. location is standard. For larger projects already supplied by JJB, ask about coordinating tool delivery options, if available, with your material order.

Can I reserve a tool in advance? +

Yes, and for larger or specialty tools like the TE 3000-AVR breaker, we strongly recommend it. Call or email to reserve.
